Hi Ms Goat! Stop beatin yourself up over this! You were a child put in a position that you should'nt have been! You reacted the only way your young mind knew how! I was put in the same situation when I was young. I was abandoned by my parents also, my old man left, my mother went to work and dated, so she was never around! We, all of us raised each other .I was the oldest so I was the one who caught hell everynight when Mom came home ! Her violence was put on me and I reciprocated in turn by using a heavy hand on my brother and sisters! I did what I had to! The damage was put on us by irresponsible adults and I think we all understood this and never held it against each other! I'll bet your brother feels the same way! I think you just need a big hug from your brother and/or sister and them from you! Thats all it takes sometimes! Grog
