i have been smoke free for 15 months... and its great... yes i gained weight... but I'm now working on that and trying not to beat myself up for it...
After looking into the price of the patches and gum.. i decided " cold turkey" was cheaper...
i smoked my last cig.. and that was it... i didnt tell anyone so as not to look foolish if I went back to smoking...the first 2 weeks were the hardest...and my father was doing some work on my house and is a heavy smoker...
But one thing that helped me alot was changing my " pattern"... instead of having morning coffee, then cig... I read the paper first... got dressed.. the had coffee... I didnt miss the cig as much cuz i broke the pattern...
