Herpes isn't the end of the world..

Nor is it the end of sex, or love, or anything important in our lives. A large percentage of adults have it genitally and a majority have it orally. Most don't know.

After getting genital herpes, I dated, told all potential partners and never had anyone run away. I've had it for over 12 years and have not transmitted to anyone and have been married to a wonderful woman who, after being together for several years new, is still negative as proven by IgG type-specific testing. She knows there's a non-zero risk, but is OK with that.
