Lipase: the enzyme that breaks down fat

Personal "medical" history:
Two years ago I began having gallbladder attacks. I began doing liver flushes. My fifth Liver Flush finally produced the large stones that were causing the attacks. (I posted my story a year ago under the username "notstonednow" but my email changed and I couldn't remember my password.) However, after a month or so, my gallbladder and liver would begin feeling full again, and I would have to do another flush. I lost count after the 12th flush, and every time I passed more than 1/2 cup of small-grained cholesterol stones. The flushes did work in that the discomfort would go away.

A year ago I developed a rash on my face that spread to my limbs as well. A doctor told me it was yeast, but intensive yeast treatments made zero difference.

Taking essential fatty acids, omega 3 and 6, helped with the rash but did not cure it. Taking Silymarin and Bee Pollen seemed to help maintain my liver health for longer periods of time. I could go 3 months in between flushes as long as I was taking Silymarin and Bee Pollen. (Bee Pollen helps the liver metabolize fats, and Silymarin/Milk Thistle helps the liver produce bile.)

Now to what I have recently learned:

Lipase is one of the enzymes present in breast milk, which would explain why many children develop skin disorders once they begin to eat real food instead of nursing exclusively. Lipase is also present in raw vegetables and raw butter. The pancreas' supply of lipase drops dramatically around age 30, being 2/3rds what it was during youth by the time a person reaches 60.

People with skin disorders, obesity, diabetes, liver congestion, and congestive heart problems are noted to have a deficiency in lipase. Lipase, through metabolizing the fats we eat, is said to help those fats get to the areas of our body where they are needed, instead of being stored or excreted unused. Some of the results noted are: healthy skin, stable blood Sugar levels, weight loss, healthy immune system, healthy digestion, and healthy cardiovascular system.

The rest of what I will post below will be copy-paste paragraphs from various websites. I recommend following the links and reading the rest of the information on the sites listed below.

Since I have been taking Lipase and Omega oils together, my skin has cleared up. Now I am waiting to see the long term effects on my liver and gallbladder.
