speaking about the blind...
If you take the time to closely examine the response to this individual's post that you are referring to, [Re: Am I doing something wrong?],

you just may find that there is nothing there that suggests the use of supplementing with iodine for the problem of weight gain/loss. It has everything to do with the looking into another possible cause for the weight gain/loss problem.
Opening up the eyes and looking around to see what's going on before aimlessly shooting arrows about may be what is obviously lacking here.
For there is another forum at curezone that is named the Iodine Supplementation Forum that has the reputation for slamming those who have a slightly different perspective on various topics that are up for discussion. Iodine, opinions on higher/lower dosages, forms of use [organic versus inorganic], are just a few of the topics that one can get banned for if the subject matter does not line up with someone of those that moderate that forum. That forum has a tendency to attract those that may feel a need to take higher doses. I suspect that this is where this poster is coming from. Obviously, she is not having the results she was hoping for and is trying the iodine support forum for another opinion.
The Iodine Support Forum supports moderate use of iodine usage for supplementation purposes. It also presents researched information relating to its use in treatment of various diseases...
A blind man pointing his finger at another and calling him blind... is just a form of hypocrisy. At best he can be called a hypocrite. At the very best he can be called a Master Hypocrite.
Showing how to find the door out of a dark situation... well, these will always be critisized by others that cannot locate the door themselves.
