As misunderstood as Iodine is I don't see that anytime in the near future...

Iodine has such a profound effect that it must be carefully administered, yes there are some who will react favorably to it but others may have serious even life threatening detox reactions. Offering it as a trace mineral boost is about as close as you'll get.
