coincidentally, the past few weeks I've been reading and researching scientology to trace it's roots. It was somewhere between reading about the links between Aleister Crowley and Hubbard that I found a short article about how the producers of South Park had done an episode spoofing Scientology. Apparently there was a scene that depicted Tom Cruise having holed up in a closet with John Travolta and Nicole Kidman standing outside imploring and coaxing Tommy to come out of the closet. Subsequently the person who goes as the real Tom Cruise is said to have threatened a lawsuit, afterwhich this episode was then mysteriously disappeared. Any of you South Park fans out there who may have TVO'd or taped that episode, you may have yourself a rare, collectors-item-quality episode.... "for which no form of may be rewritten or rebroadcast without the express permission of the blah blah blah...." :)
