I asked Barefoot about the white coat on my tongue. He said it was normal for the tongue to have a slight whiteness to it in the morning.

When I was sick it was a lot worse. I could scrape it off. The only time it would clear up was after a flush. Nice pink tongue the next morning. Now the white coating is still there but nothing like it was whan I was sick. I brush my tongue real good to get it off and even then there's still some on the back of my tongue.

So I think I'll have to investigate it, find out the physiology involved.
