Re: a question for long-timers

ggg...let me give you another consideration~!

I can recommend using MH's LBB (lower bowel
balance). If I slow down, I up my water intake
and take one of the LBB with each meal. Once
you are moving your bowels on their own you
can discontinue the herbs. I saw on your list
of options you already have it too...

His formula is based on Dr. Christopher's
Lower Bowel Balance which can also be found
in a good health food store.

The herbs strengthen your bowels so really do
contribute to the healing of this issue.

Some people also use a maintenance dose of
Oxypowder until their system comes back into
balance, so another option.

It is also important to condition your gut
with good flora. Adding fermented foods or
good bacteria through yogurt, kefir, or
probiotics is very beneficial. Between
cleanses is a good time to *integrate* and
allow the body to come back into a state of
adjusting to the new level of health. This
is a time to use foods to clean the blood
and focus on keeping well hydrated.

I also like using plain clay drinks as I feel
it is beneficial in mopping up stray metals
which have leached out in cleansing. I have
done 2 different month long stints of drinking
clay and feel they made a big difference.
Of course, these should only be used when
your bowels are functioning well again.

And, to answer your question, I took a bowel
cleanse product my naturopath recommended
for years while I did a cancer healing protocol.
When I stopped, I was only healthier for it
and except when cleansing, I enjoy perfect
bowel function on my own. I have never been
dependent on laxatives.

Best wishes,
Zoe
