You know for years we had maybe a half dozen Olive oils to pick from and to get the fancy ones you had to go to gourmet shops or ethnic stores like Italian, Spanish or Greek and buy it in those colorful square cans. Nowadays they have 50 different ones and some worth more than gold in these super fancy bottles. They have samples at Whole Foods all the time and they have little pieces of bread to dip and try the different oils. I hafta admit some of them are absolutely delicioso but the ones I wind up liking are like $18 a bottle. Sooo I just keep it simple and buy the Whole Foods brand Extra Virgin organic which is the least expensive and it tastes great to me.
I have leg cramp issue every now and then I go through periods when I get them real easily and then I won't get them again for a long time so I really don't know what to say about them and what causes them.
I have heard that low potasium in the system are is one of the culprits but I really don't know. I had the worst cramp from hell going down a gnarly rapid once and I was headed right into this huge boulder I tried to hold fast and suck it up but it hurt so bad that I just had this involuntary reaction just to lurch forward to stretch my leg since in a canoe you are on your knees. While still in a world of hurt I recovered just enough to get my paddle in the water and just skim by to the left of the boulder. If I would have dumped in the middle of that rapid with that cramp from hell it would not have been a good thing at all.
You could prolly do a little research at school since I'm sure you have beaucoup of reference books. If you have access to anything involving sports medicine that would prolly be a good place to start.
