I suspect DU exacerbates the toxic air we already have in most parts of the world. In China, it is thought that pollution is the leading cause of cancer.

This is most likely very true for air pollution everywhere. That many/most/all countries do not publicly acknowledge is most likely for the same reasons China would like to keep it under wraps.

Most all of us know people who have died of cancers while leading a relatively clean life. These cancers are caused by pollution of all kinds, including the chemical pollution in our foods, personal care, household cleaning, shiny new "things" we must "have", and lawn/car/paint etc. care products.

That some are more sensitive to the poisons than others is a given.

All that said, we can take steps to help ourselves. Those on curezone can easily figure out what those steps are by going through the R - RN and BSA posts of appropriate forums, along with the cleansing pages/links in the curezone title bar and blogs, etc. Most certainly, balancing levels of minerals/elements including Iodine in the body is a part of the process and will offer some protection from the onslaught of all kinds of pollution. In the process, one will become better able to ward off infectious diseases as well.

I have not been ill in well over 2.5 years now... I have taken 1 "sick" day off from work when I was mega dosing iodine; The reaction may have been detox, however it was towards the end of nearly 4 months of dosing at high levels and I was well aware that my body was reacting to the high doses negatively. I now do one drop of Lugol's a day, 5 days a week most weeks (I take breaks while still eating seaweeds) in addition to my consumption of seaweeds.
