Re: A lot of posers, all devoid facts

But the Professors belief has been based on personal experience and not based on wishful thinking; hence the study, to evaluate once and for all whether the Gerson Protocol works or not. Initial results are promising which show a 90% success rate in dealing with and "curing" ALL cancers at ALL stages of development.

According to Cancer Research UK.....15th May 2007
"Ten-year survival for all types of cancer combined has reached 46.2 per cent, new statistics from Cancer Research UK.
The figures – calculated by Professor Michel Coleman and his team at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine – show that while survival varies widely between different types of cancer, on average a patient with cancer now has a 46.2 per cent chance of being alive ten years after diagnosis. This compares with 23.6 per cent 30 years ago. HOWEVER, OVERALL FIVE-YEAR SURVIVAL IS STILL NOW 49.6%"

That is 49.6% !!!
Not exactly encouraging is it!!

Of course conventional medicine has the time and resources to gather their precious statistics, but Alternatives are fragmented and do not have the overall organisational skills to do the same.

As a final word: let us all keep an open mind on the subject and eventually accept whatever the evidence tells us.........either way.

PS. Interesting reading as you seem to be so fond of the facts.
