While I agree that if the President had been honest telling the people in NO to get out because the levees were not going to hold, I know a lot of good Americans would have helped in any way they could to get those people out.

But, there still would have been some die-hards who would have refused to leave regardless. I have to wonder about people like that. We had them on the Gulf Coast who refused to leave and some of these people have never been found.


Right now, on the Mississippi coast, the casinos got the OK to build back on land..so many feet away from the water. Before they had to be built on the water. The casinos have been built back in record time and the projection is there will be 20-30 casinos being built in the future. We are clearly a gaming industry now. That is good and bad. Tweet
