I asked that question knowing its a loaded question and as you can see no one responded.

I've just seen too many really good relationship go south after the marriage. It seems to me that the marriage licence takes it out of the voluntary catagory, or at least that's the way it's percieved, and once not voluntary it's just a matter of time until it's over. Seems to give one of the partners license to stop loving. And sorry girls, it's usually the female. I don't want to believe that but that's what I see most of the time. If you listen to the females us men aren't good for much.

Plus, Not too many couples are very happy together anyway. Seems like one or the other has "settled". Too many hidden agenda's.
