it's a loaded question.

Love is giving, not taking. Those who perceive a conditin of "having to give" d not think in terms of voluntary, free giving, but rather contractual obligations. Love contracts are for hookers and Johns, or other arrangements of convenience.

True love is voluntary reciprocal giving, of many things, in the absence of any obligation to do so. Attaching an obligation, gives it a certain color of commerce.

so you are realy asking for opinions on the differences between acts of ones own volition, versus obligation under a compelled performance. Llike comparing charity to forced taxation.
