Re: Hormones affected

I doubt it. The immune-system is only one element of the problem. Remember, the toxins are occupying crucial receptor sites which direct information and cues to key peptides.
First, the toxins [low molecular weight proteins] must be "bumped" off. This is not an easy task. Second, the source of these low level toxins must be stopped.
I think most people underestimate toxins. There are some spiders, for example, which can leave permanent toxins after a bite, which can emerge cyclically for the rest of the victims life.
I am going on the "idea" that if gut microbiota can be replaced by new genetically uncontaminated serotype compatible strains, there would be a profound change in the entire physical state of the host. New enzymes, better synergy with the hosts chemistry, improved metabolism possible DNA rejuvenation.
This would be achieved by intense Antibiotic therapy coupled with the reintroduction of aggressive colonizer bacteria. I think e-coli plays a very big part.
This is where my research is taking me. Once I have electrophoresis ability [both hardware and technical knowledge] I will be able to quantify DNA signatures and certain proteins. This will help tract and record good guys and bad guys. Shroom
