So frustrated please help me!

Hi. Recently I purchased some Black-Walnut , Wormwood and cloves so that i could make ym own tincture. Instead of giving me the Black-Walnut hulls i ended up with the leaves... do the leaves still work the same way as the hulls? Also i have no idea what proportions to mix these ingrediantes, ive tried looking everyhere on the web but cannot find a recipe, its so damn rustrating! can someone please help me, i would be so grateful.
