Re: Prevention of pet cancers, blocked urethras,
food poisoning, arthritis, etc. through vegan
and vegetarian diet
I think and feel that it just boils down to natural ,healthy
foods, along with common sense. Vegetarian or Carnivore. Folks or
critters.
Animals and most people normally will :
A) Eat anything to survive
B) Eat anything that tastes good
c)
d) ALL OF THE ABOVE
I have a cat 14 y,o. that eats birds, flys, geckos,
centipedes ,scorpions...just for appetizers. Then again,
I had a great little dog,Daisy, who's favorite food was
cabbage. She'd jump 6 feet in the air for it! I have lived
around coyotes before and you would be absolutely floored
to see what those critters eat-them and goats-anything
The junk that food mills put in our food goes in the pet's
and livestock's ,too-worse for livestock. When 1200 head of cattle
were found to have mad cow disease symptoms(caused by eating other
cows brains that had traces of the disease)in Texas a few years ago,
they were killed-deemed unfit for human consumption. Guesswhat they
did with them(renderings)? The made chicken feed! mm-mm-mm , guess
chickens definitely aint' vegetarians.
That is the illogical thinking and guidelines followed by the food
industry and FDA. Hmmm...
I do want my pets to be healthy, too.
When given the chance, I believe that humans and animals can handle
a lot. It's when the chemicals and and poisons are introduced to the
diet that problems WILL occur. It's ok to read pet food labels, too.
