Re: Issue 64: Ulcerative Colitis Cure - Vitamin E Enema & Diet
My son aged 5 is diagnosed with ulcerative colitis this week. He has been having blood and mucus in his stool for the last 1 month. Initially doctors suspected polyp and did a colonoscopy to find no polyp but an inflamed colon. His blood and stool test is normal. Gradually in the last 1 month, he has developed an urge to use the restroom often and he was going 20 times a day till 2 days back.
He was put on flagyl last week and as flagyl did not help, he is put on sulfasalazine starting last friday. I started giving more vegetables starting yesterday after reading this thread and started seeing formed stools. The stool most of the time is covered with blood.
I would like to try your diet and procedure since I find this a procedure with potentially least side effects and historically good results.
Can I follow the procedure for a five year old?
Thanks Sheldon for the service you are doing.
Sara.
