Hi Sheldon,
Thanks for your reply.
Yesterday's menu:
7:30 A.M Rice cake with sulfasalazine
9:30 A.M 1 table spoon of pro-biotic
11:30 A.M 1 bowl of organic brown basmati rice with vegetables
2:30 p.m steamed parboiled rice with sulfasalazine
5 p.m 1 bowl of puffed brown rice with turmeric olive oil seasoning
8 p.m 1 bowl of organic brown basmati rice with vegetables.
Yesterday he had 3 major bowel movements 1 in the morning - which had
3 trips to restroom within 15 mts and 2 others in the afternoon around
3 p.m and 8 p.m The ones in the morning were muffed but in the evening
there was better stool form. There was blood but it is better than before.
Yesterday we did the procedure in the evening.
He had been getting up in the middle of the night for bowel movements for a
month now. But yesterday he slept through the whole night for the first time!
In the morning, he had 1 major bowel movement. The stool form is much better.
But there is still evident blood in the stool. No floating mucus in the last 2 days.
I note that you said avoid rice cake. I am planning to substitute that with
steamed parboiled rice - Your suggestions?
You said prebiotic - what is the advantage now? Does it help in digestion?
What is the best time to give it?
What do you think about brown basmati rice? He is able to chew that easier.
Do you think I can increase the vitamin E to 600? Please advise
Thank you,
Sara.
