i'll just reiterate this point: kids don't just invent intense, graphic sexual behaviors out of nowhere. they are either exposed to p 0 r n o g r a p h i c material (which, obviously, your son was), or they experienced it themselves. and, no - it is not "normal" for a brother to perform oral sex on his sister. it is not the same as "show me yours, i'll show you mine." it is a behavior that follows through with graphic sexual intent and exertion of control (sexually, and otherwise).

the fact that he might "understand" that his behaviors are "against the law" and might be "punished by the law" will not abate his interest in graphic sexual behaviors or the pursuit of viewing graphic sexual images, whatsoever - it will only back him into a deceptive corner and teach him how to better be subversive and deceptive - if not his younger sister, then someone else will do just as well.

personally, if it were me, i would still involve my son (at least) in counseling/therapy so that he could process what he's been exposed to in a healthy manner. of course, that's just my 2 cents and you will view the matter as it suits you. Tweet
