It does seem long, maybe a typing error. What I like about the article is that it brings up the subject. Most people don't think about these things much, I think.

Very good transit, I think, should be 12-15 hrs. Therefore, if I ate a meal in the evening at 6 PM, then at 6 AM I should be ready to go.
