Re: Wombat: FAQ Submission per your request #2
Thanks, I love to write. I've been kicked in the teeth so much lately by an "expert" who is trying to discredit me at every turn, that I am almost afraid to post any more. Still, I honestly believe that
Iodine supplementation is a vital part of getting healthy. Right now I am doing some work on the so-called Syndrome X or Metabolic Syndrome that is becoming epidemic among middle aged people and the possible relation to
Iodine deficiency. I have personal experiential data that says the
Iodine does help improve symptoms of Syndrome X like high blood pressure, high glucose levels, plus joint problems.
I am dealing with some personal problems right now, probably stress induced. Last night I had a terrible panic attack, the first one in years. I thought for a little while I might be dying, even though part of me knew what was happening. Rather than have to deal with further put-downs and insults, I will lie low for a while and mind my own business. A young friend who has the same problem and I are trying to help each other and talk out these panic attacks. Neither one of us wants to go on anti-depressants.
I am also reading a book Owen sent on Trigger Point therapy for chronic pain. One thing it mentions is an under active thyroid helping create conditions for chronic pain. I imagine that is one reason why my pain eased when I began larger doses of
Lugol's and came back so strongly when I stopped it and did a liver flush-that is something else I want to write about when I get more facts. So- I do want to contribute more to this forum, but I want to present well researched material along with personal testimony.
Once again, thanks for your encouragement. ~G~
