Trap sorry to hear about the miners in Utah. There have been severl incidenst here in Russia lately. Most of them never make the news, because the government controls all the TV and Radio-ALL. I deal with the folks charged with mine safety and the group charged with rescue, so I manage to get the real picture.
Technolgy grows exponetaly, 35 yrs ago I used a 40 lb SAT uplink ( it used Fortran IV)to send coordiantes to my friends in Guam, so they could come visit uncle charlie's hidden ammo dumps. The same thing weighs a few hundred grams now.
