Hi, White strings or cottage cheese looking discharge is most likely a yeast infection. which probiotics should clear that right up, you can buy at a health food store. If that doesnt work, I would see your healthcare provider to test and see if its a yeast or bacterial infection, if its yeast, take probiotics to clear it right up. If its bacterial you definately need to see what is going on. Also yeast is transferred sexually from partner to partner. So He has to be treated to. Hope this helps. Tweet
