Re: Total portion of body made up of "foreign" organisms?

I do not have a source at the moment I will look for one but the average human has 3-5 pounds of bacteria in the colon the largest repository of such. While those who are imbalanced may have large ones, the average parasite is microscopic and the weights would be negligeable.

In regards to 'self" this whole body is foreign and that is about 235 pounds!
