I know, it's worrisome. On the one hand, one does not want to be a "worry wart", but on the other hand, articles such as the one below are unsettling:

Without a mass dieoff of much of the world's population, I can't at this time see how the place will sustain anyone at all, at some point. An inflection point in the graph dPop/dt must occur, either sooner, or later. If sooner, the slope will not be as steep as if it occurs later. Also, if not occur until later, the place will really be a mess. Better sooner than later then.
