Re: SIBO, Candida...Gas & Bloating
Hi there,
I had the same problem as you. My stomach was distended and I had gas and bloating all the time. My candida was out of control and I started the antifungals, GSE, EVCO, OO, you name it!
Anyway, I started to train heavily for some running races this summer. I'm about 6 months into my training right now. The only point where I noticed the bloating and gas going away was when I decided to go low-carb. I eat tons of good fats and proteins now. My carbs are wild rice, and otmeal....that's really about it (aside from fruits and veggies). I eat lots of organic meat. About a week into this regime I had at least 3 or 4 loose stools a week consisting of semi-transparent fuzzy stuff. Hard to describe, but you'll know when you start passing candida. This ended about 3 weeks later and I haven't had the bloating in over 2 months now!
I'm not sure if the results were from reintroducing meat into my diet or from stopping the carbs. I should mention that my diet has minimal
Sugar in it too.
Try it! You'll be tired for a week, but your body will adapt. I think I burn fat very efficiently now and has made me a strong, lean runner.
Also, I haven't used any probiotics. I really only take chlorella, spirulina, and iodine.
Good luck!
