Hemorrhoids

I'm about as sure as I can be that my hemorrhoids were caused by an advanced case of pinworms that I ignored for years. It also seems like pinworms have a way of dehydrating the colon and causing constipation, so they won't get eliminated. I also believe that potty training has a significant impact on whether or not children are prone to getting pinworms, and whether or not people are prone to obsessive compulsive behavior, but I'll save that issue for another topic, although retraining ourselves may be an essential part of full recovery.

If you get pinworms and leave them untreated, they may even spread beyond the anal sphincter, to the colon, small intestine, perhaps even the stomach, throat and lungs. The reason I believe this is true, is because there was some kind of parasite that kept stinging and itching my throat at night. It would wake me up when I was trying to sleep. It seemed to be pinworm related, if not pinworms themselves. I say this because the stinging cycled between the throat and the anal spincter. Something was either stinging my throat and waking me, or itching my butt and keeping me from sleeping.

When you start taking something like Lugol's or Wormwood orally, the ones in the stomach will get very uncomfortable, and begin to migrate to the colon to get away from the concentrated dose of medicine coming their way. When that happens your hemorrhoids may get a lot worse. Mine did. I've had terrible problems with hemorrhoids since I began Lugols. I see it as a good sign. The Lugols is working. It's causing the worms to migrate.

So I began inserting Wormwood capsules anally and even put a few drops of Lugols in an enema. Be careful about using Lugols in enema water. It doesn't take much. I prefer to make tea with anti-parasitical herbs, or use suppositories made with coconut oil, Wormwood and herbs that soothe hemorrhoids. The most important thing to remember if you have hemorrhoids, is to resist the temptation to push as hard as you can when you need to void. Doing so will cause your hemorrhoids to rupture and bleed. Instead of pushing harder, try supporting the muscles around your anal sphincter by pressing them inwards. And definitely squat on the toilet like Trapper suggests.

I tried putting some Lugols on a hemorrhoid one time and it burned really badly for a couple of hours. The next day the hemorroid was much better, but the burning hurt so much, I do not recommend it.
