Yes, it's never too late. Too bad it takes a brush with death or disability for some of us (ie myself and many others) to get really proactive with our health. Walking away from emotional salves like meat eating, nicotine addiction, alcohol, sweets with refined
Sugar (Ok cutting way down) and even TV watching all at the same time has not been easy to do. We all need our emotional outlets and indulgences from time to time.
But one way to do things to still affect your mood instead of the usual culturally accepted vices is to go headlong into proactive health. Exercize programs, cleansing programs, supplements, diets, meditation, and activities like oil pulling taken together can be equally as involving and mood altering while being as positive for your future as the usual is negative. They've done a terrific job of filling the void of all the bad habits and practices I've given up. (Ok that and this really cool home theater system I built into our house). As I say, we all need our indulgences.
