Re: Calling All Experts

I can't add anything to the excellent information you have already received, but I do want to add that he needs to be sure his systems of detoxification and elimination are wide open before beginning a regimen like this. Most of us are familiar with the rigors of detoxification. If he is at all able, the man needs to do some liver detoxing including flushes if he can. He also needs to do some colon work. I don't know how strong he is at this point, but a carefully monitored magnesium oxide product like Oxypowder or Colosan may be best. Stimulant herbs and high fiber may be too rough on him, although later may prove helpful in eliminating accumilated waste. To open up his skin and get the lymph flowing, his wife can do dry skin brushing a couple of times daily. I also recommend he do some transdermal magnesium therapy. Magnesium oil would probably be the best, but old fashioned Epsom Salts can be used in a bath. Experience has taught me that really hot baths may not be best for people with neurological problems; however a pleasantly warm bath with magnesium flakes can help you feel much better. A hot foot soak can be substituted if tub baths are too difficult.

Above all, I agree that Iodine therapy would be great if there is a possibility of a deep seated bacterial or viral infection. My experience with Shingles proves to me that Iodine can dig out and remove latent infective agents. He may feel worse at the beginning, but this will be the time to stay strong and continue with the highest doses tolerable.
