Maybe they could explain how a Plant takes Electro-magnetic Energy from the sunshine and Slows it down to make Matter 24 hours a Day and 365 days a year ?
        No one can explain that since it does not happen.  A plant does not convert matter to energy in the way described, as was seen from the simple calculations derived from E=mc2, even the 780,000 ft² of Solar One could only gather enough energy to convert a fraction of a gram per day.   At this rate it would take 43 years to make 1 medium sized apple.

A plant, just like a cell goes through a cycle of varying activities and inactivity.   This depends on the availability of light, temperature, moisture.  And in fact if plants produced 365/24/7 we would be gathering crops in the dead of winter; a time in which many plants go into near metabolic cessation.

As to the rest, it is called photosynthesis.

Of course ML is free to try and grow plants in a vacuum with just his “Electro-magnetic Energy” and tell us how well they do.

Even a child can look around and see that Nature takes Electro-magnetic Energy from the sunshine by way of Plants and turns it into Matter 24 hours a Day and 365 days a year !
I guess this child must that ML refers to must go into a coma once fall arrives and then only wake up when spring comes around.  WINTER.
