Re: Adult child situation--do I speak up or not?

Hello,

My advice is to give all the help and support that you can give. This is your only task there. Offer a better house if you can. Offer financial help if you feel like doing so.

Do not mind and do not judge the way they are spending hard-gained money. If this does not bother your daughter, why should it bother you?

Unless some form of abuse is taking place (which apparently is not the case), do not speak up to them. What would you say ?

And why ask questions about marriage? questions like this will only make you daughter feel shame and embarrassment about her situation.

Try to see the GOOD SIDES in the situation, try to help her see them as well. Attitude is everything when facing hard times.

Remember that no situaTION (and no one) is either good or bad, your perspective makes up everything.

Put all of your love and faith, pray, give help, this is your task a s a parent.

One day at a time! not all their problems will solve overnight.

Indeed, if they love and respect each other, they will succeed at working it out.
