Re: Would you juice fast if you thought you had cancer?

"It is suggested that you do not fast if you have cancer. Why? Most all cancer patients are nutrient deficient and need dense nutrition. After you start to recover, rebuild your body, I would recommend it."

That doesn't make much sense because by drinking juice, you're absorbing all the nutrients instantly. It's usually said that unhealthy and nutrient deficient people don't absorb all the nutrients in their food (even if raw) anyway.

A lot of controversy and contradictions with this subject. Any fasting books I've read always point to fasting during cancer. Like this website is all for it:
http://www.freedomyou.com/fasting_book/fighting%20cancer%20with%20fasting.htm

Then of course you have your other experts that say not to. You could go to some kind of holistic doctor/proffessional and the advice would still be contradicting. How do you decide what to do.
