Re: Is Raw cow colostrum kefir the right thing for my Ulcerative Colitis and dysbiosis

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I'm so sorry to hear about your nephew. Organ removal is a scary path. It's so true that western medicine is simply ineffective in treating diseases such as Ulcerative Colitis. But its so hard to follow a naturopath philosophy because it takes so much time and effort. I for one am willing and thankfully have the opportunity to put in the effort (no outside commitments like marriage and kids, just taking time off from college...)

I did stop the kefir because I think it was stirring up my stomach TOO much. Probably killing off too much bad stuff so I'm just using Primal Defense and my system seems calmer.

Also, I started taking L-Glutamine (1g on an empty stomach 4-5 times a day) which I hear is good for repairing the intestinal lining. That seems to be calming things down even more and keeping my skin nice and clear. My Acne has definitely been related to gut issues.

Question:
If I were to still have candida and other bad stuff like parasites, would L-Glutamine almost "trap" the bad stuff in the intestinal lining or would the Primal Defense still be able to clear that bad stuff out?
