To put it in the most simplistic terms:

I do not believe in socialism in the sense of dividing up all the money and property equally and granting access to all services and luxuries without regards to the fruits of one's labors; however, this is not about free lunches for freeloaders - it is about basic human decency! Health care is not a luxury, it is a basic human necessity and to deprive one single human of basic health care is barbaric.

The issue of costs would largely not be an issue if control of the medicines and treatments were not in the hands of a group who continues to commit crimes against humanity by foisting toxic, side effect laden and largely ineffective man made medicines on us while preventing us from having access to the safe, natural, effective and inexpensive alternatives that nature has provided in abundance (and to good natural unadulterated nutrition).
