Hopinso, and everyone else who offered words of encouragement, I really appreciate the kind encouragement. What rankled me so was that one Moderator was able to cause so much damage - ONE person. She never apologized for what she chose to do. By "apology," I mean that one defines what they did and sincerely apologizes if they intentionally caused harm to another.

When AOL was training their Chat Hosts, we all agreed to adhere to strict guidelines and were placed in chats that we had no personal interest in. In that way, we could always remain pretty objective. Warnings were swift, and consequences were immediate. Again, if a Chat Host overstepped his/her boundaries, there were consequences as per the level of the infraction. A couple of Hosts actually lost their AOL service due to their inappropriate behaviors.

I was hasty, and very angry when I spouted off. I'll be around, but without much input.
