Re: Women adult acne

I have struggled with mild Acne for about 7 years but when i was about 25 it got alot worse along with some other symptoms. I started writing down when i had breakouts and all the symptoms along with it. I determined that it was happening the same time every month, exactly 2 weeks before my period (during avulation). I suspected that it was hormonal and I went to two different doctors that found nothing wrong with me. Finally one of my best friends was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrone), she had similar symtoms. I went to her doctor and he did an ultrasound and blood test and he found the cysts and an imbalance in the LH and FSH hormones. I guess alot of doctors don't know how to test for this. You must go to an OBGYN or Endocreologist. This disease is fairly new and may be causing your acne. I hope this helps.
