Re: bleeding during fast

Wow, I'm so glad someone else is experiencing this too! I've done detox's before and not had this happen, but now it's happened three 3 times now!

We did a cleanse together as a group with my fitness bootcamp group starting on April 6 and I bled for 7 days during both periods I was on the detox. Normally I do 4 or 5 days.

And now, my sister and I are doing a 30 day raw food challenge. I finished my period last Saturday, but yesterday I just started spontaneously bleeding again! So, I called and left a message for our bootcamp instructor, who is also a certified acupuncturist and nutritionist, and asked her if she nows what's going on. last time, she said if it went on longer than 7 days, we should look into it, but this is a new development!
I am 45, so there is the possibility that it's some weird pre-menopausal thang, but considering the circumstances, I think it has to do with the raw food program.

I haven't heard back from her yet, but when I do, I'll post another msg. for you, if you gives me some good information! I found your post as I was scrounging around trying to come up with an answer myself!

Have you found anything else out? I'm surprised no one else has responded to your post. I'm going to keep checking back.
