bleeding during fast

HI,

I have been on the fast for 13 days.I feel great ,but I have been bleeding since days 5 or 6 as if I was on my period.The problem is that I started the fast right after the end of my period .so I am a bit concerned about bleeding now .
I am also under birth control and I kept taking it during my fast .Does anyone know why this is happening?
I don't bleed a lot ,but It's constant .
