Don't grab any old thing, learn what their properties are, then use the ones appropriate to your needs. It's just plain goofy to take things at random.

I've been juicing for twenty years probably, doing it every other morning. Each time I put in the following (all organic, of course) and drink it very slowly, after 'chewing' the first mouthful:

2 sticks of celery
2 apples
2 carrots
2 cucumbers with any petroleum-covered peel removed
bunch of parsley
3 Romaine lettuce leaves
1 beet
1 slice of cantaloupe (with skin left on)
some Watermelon for bulk
1 leaf of kale or bok choy
5 drops of Cellfood

It's delicious. This amount serves two of us twice and I've always found it tremendously beneficial.

Then on the mornings in between I get a blender and put in:

1 cup of organic apple juice
1 cup of filtered water
1 slice of cantaloupe (skin taken off and cut up)
One-half cup of frozen organic blueberries
One-half tablespoon of Tonic Alchemy or Pure Synergy superfood powder
1 tablespoon of pumpkin seeds (for prostate)
5 drops of Cellfood.

This tremendously energizing, I've always found, and the effect lasts for two days.

Of course, ingredients must vary according to personal taste and dietary need. But by taking these juices on alternate days I've managed to stay very healthy into my 50s.
