My doctor recommended the Mirena IUD to me a while ago. I hopped online, in the first 5 minutes i had read enough scare stories to put me off it completely.

Mirena or celibacy? ....i'll take the latter, thanks! lol

My cousin had those rods implanted in her arm as a form of contraception, she seemed to get on okay with them, though i do not see or speak to her very often at all, but at least she was laughing and standing when i saw her with the rods i her arm!

I had the depo-provera injection, and went into a deep sleep for 6 months. All i wanted to do was sleep. I felt so sluggish.

The pill has so many side effects i won't even bother going there!!

There is not much left for us ladies to choose from is there?
