You are right, Adrenal burn out is vague and I don't know what herbs she recommened but I do believe that you should start by cleansing your liver and colon. There are various ways you can go about it that are not expensive, but you are going to have to invest the time to get your body clean and functioning at a healthier level.
Look back at my first answer. Cleansing is the foundation to good health. If your body is full of toxins and poisons you will have continually have problems. Start here and see what other issues are uncovered. This is the best advice I can give you.
Eating a heathy well rounded diet is best. You should eat whole grains. I wouldn't feel guilty about eating certain foods as long as you do it in moderation. If you want a baked potato then eat it.... throw out some of the white part and eat all the skin, it's full of vitamins. Just don't load it with cheese, sour cream and butter.
