The mag in ES is very very poorly absorbed, it functions to draw saline into the colon and force expulsion, it isnt sufficient at a mag supplement.

I'd suggestion mag citrate, mag malate, mag glycinate, mag taurate. A combination of various oganically bound mag is better than just one by itself imho.

You may have to watch calcium if you supplement mag, people have varying reactions. I do well on extra mag but my friend suffers from pain after exercise and excessive tiredness. Overall I'd say its a fairly harmless supplement though, as many are deficient.
