I think the fiber plan is great. It is sooo important to be regular. Try soaking or sprouting your beans before you cook them. And make sure they are organic. Because beans can be treated and just nasty genetically modified....
I started another fast and read inspirational stories. This one guy fasts for like 50 days every year and he only eats one meal a day every second day otherwise. He is sixty and says he feels like 35! Isn't that incredible. Well one meal a day will be challenging enough for now.
I'll try beans when I'm done fasting! Yum.
