diet transitions
(:
Well, I slowly tripled my fiber intake for the past week and WOW!
what a difference it has made in how I feel and how my digstive system just flows now.I eat 2 15
oz cans of chili, red kidney beans to be exact (90% of it washed out through a drainer to rid of it's sodium content) salad and next I'll be adding steamed veggies and fruits.I no longer feel soo stuffed up or crampy like I was before, also alot less aggitated and irritable. The beans help out ALOT in terms of how my gut feels, also all that seretonin released from eating all those complex carbs at once really mellows me out as well as gives me long lasting energy after I eat them.I may try to make my own chili as to avoid the sodium content as well as being a healthier alternative.I cut down my protein (red meat) intake by like 85% as well and that's REALLY improved my moods.I tried eating a rare steak for the two days in the beggining and I was sooo aggressive for those days~I definetly notice a difference from when I do eat red meat and when I don't.The difference is like night and day with my moods and neurosis, red meat and low carbs tends to send me into this fighting frenzy it's hard to explain but I get really paranoid and anxious, might be from too much neurotransmitter action from the big chunk of protein. Also it tended to really harden my stools,I may try to add it back in simutaniously while keeping my fiber intake up hopefully it should help!
