no, i am simply agreeing with what Jesus said - your spirit is not defiled through your nutritional choices, but rather through the manner in which you treat your fellow man.

in fact Jesus' statement was in direct opposition to the pharisees and religious rulers of the day who insisted that you must eat such and such and drink so and so, or you would offend God and incur His wrath. Jesus said no, that is not the case. God's primary concern is not what you ate for breakfast, rather He cares first and foremeost about how you treat your fellow man. Jesus was saying these are two separate issues, and I agree with him on this point. Tweet
