Actually I did not feel pain. I felt extremely ill. My head heart, I was terribly nauseous and weak. I felt like I had a terrible case of indigestion, I suppose that, that was why it occured to me to take Alkaseltzer. I also felt pressure in my sinus, under the eye area, on the right side of my face. Later I felt like my sinuses opened up, first the right one then the left one. I also tried the Hydrogen peroxide like you suggested, in the same ear. It got the room moving too. The difference was that I did not feel violently ill this time just a tad nauseous, and that went away quickly.
Curiousity got the best of me so I went for the left ear, the one that doesn't give me much trouble. The room did not spin or move. I did feel just a tiny bit nauseous and my head hurt just a teeny bit.
I am sitting here wondering if I should repeat this experiment with the right ear. Maybe I will try it in a few days to see if the reaction is the same or if things have changed : ).
