Ouch, sounds painful.The dizziness was your equilibrium, you imbalanced it. Because you have chronic leakage, there is a good chance there is a bit of a hole in the eardrum and your probably got some of the fluid you put in in the inner ear, not good. I don't think I would try it again, although alittle hydrogen with a drop of achohol my help to dry it out. I don't have the leakage, but I do have the chronic ear pain, and when everything clears, I am so suprised how much fluid must be built up in the inner ear because all of a sudden I am able to hear really good, instead of feeling like I am in a bubble. I don't think this was a herxheimer reaction but some more fluid in the inner ear, this puts pressure on the nerve ending and can cause extreme pain. Well, if you do it to the other ear, please share you experience, but be very careful. I am also daring enough to put things into my ear. I did grapefruit seed extact once, never again, I felt the way you do right now, and it didn't change the problem, it made it worse.
