I have been battling with candida and dysbiosis for a while now. I have made progress in healing. I have tried many things and found some to be quite helpful.
Today I was bored and impatient. I looked up chronic ear infections, because one of my biggest problems with candida has been my sense of balance. I was reading an article about how a new study on ear infections pointed toward ear slime as being the culprit on why Antibiotics would not help inner ear infections due to the barrier it formed.
The article concluded with the suggestion that good bacteria could possibly kill this slime bacteria and eliminate the chronic ear problem.
In the past year I have put many different things in my ear such as Colloidal Silver , hydrogen peroxide, netti pot, including candling and felt nothing. My ears keep seeping liquid goo on occasion and GP can't find much.
Well, being an adventurous type I took out the jar of Kimchee from rejuvenative food because to me this was the best friendly bacteria I could think of. I carefully took out a tsp of liquid and yes, I put it in my right ear, the ear that gives me the most problems. I immediately layed down on my left side so as to keep the liquid in my ear. Within seconds the room started to spin and move! This scared me so I got up as carefully as possible so as not to fall and emptied my ear out. The room stopped moving! I was so naseaous! I rinsed with some water. I took an alkaseltzer Go. After a few minutes I went and threw up in the bathroom.
My head is hurting and I feel so ill I wish i could pass out so I can stop the feeling!
I am in no way encouraging anyone to try this i am posting this in hopes that someone might tell me if this was a herxheimer reaction or a stupid stunt?
Rejuvenative Foods would probably frown on my use of their product.
If I had any question on the potency of their product, today I eliminated it!
If this experiment bears any good fruit i will let you know. It is now 30 min. later and i am now feeling good enough to contemplate experimenting on the other ear!

Ouch, sounds painful.The dizziness was your equilibrium, you imbalanced it. Because you have chronic leakage, there is a good chance there is a bit of a hole in the eardrum and your probably got some of the fluid you put in in the inner ear, not good. I don't think I would try it again, although alittle hydrogen with a drop of achohol my help to dry it out. I don't have the leakage, but I do have the chronic ear pain, and when everything clears, I am so suprised how much fluid must be built up in the inner ear because all of a sudden I am able to hear really good, instead of feeling like I am in a bubble. I don't think this was a herxheimer reaction but some more fluid in the inner ear, this puts pressure on the nerve ending and can cause extreme pain. Well, if you do it to the other ear, please share you experience, but be very careful. I am also daring enough to put things into my ear. I did grapefruit seed extact once, never again, I felt the way you do right now, and it didn't change the problem, it made it worse.

have been too strong. I mix mine with alcohol
to dilute it.

This is a reply to # 880,116Actually I did not feel pain. I felt extremely ill. My head heart, I was terribly nauseous and weak. I felt like I had a terrible case of indigestion, I suppose that, that was why it occured to me to take Alkaseltzer. I also felt pressure in my sinus, under the eye area, on the right side of my face. Later I felt like my sinuses opened up, first the right one then the left one. I also tried the Hydrogen peroxide like you suggested, in the same ear. It got the room moving too. The difference was that I did not feel violently ill this time just a tad nauseous, and that went away quickly.
Curiousity got the best of me so I went for the left ear, the one that doesn't give me much trouble. The room did not spin or move. I did feel just a tiny bit nauseous and my head hurt just a teeny bit.
I am sitting here wondering if I should repeat this experiment with the right ear. Maybe I will try it in a few days to see if the reaction is the same or if things have changed : ).

than putting it in your ear~!
When I have fungus in my ear, and I get
the ooze and the itch, what takes care of
it is Grapefruit Seed Extract. I put 10-
15 drops in an ounce of alcohol and swab
it into my ears. I reapply any time it
itches and voila...fungus is killed

This is a reply to # 880,282The only thins I have put in my ear to figth candida has been liquid magnesium: magnesium Oxide.
Earaches are due to a deficiency in magnesium and,as we know, candida depletes mag.
It found it to be utterly helpful and the earaches are gone.
Each time i would feel pain, I would put a drop of mag in my ears at bedtime. It worked marvel.
I had no equilibrium problems though, well actually very little and I was more suspicious of my thyroid than of my ears then because it always came along with die-off reactions.
The other treatment I would recommend is oil pulling [ visit the oil pulling forum for more details]. It is good for the entire sinus [ortho-rhino] area.

This is a reply to # 880,578Hi Shroom, I do believe you are right. The reson I believe you are right is because this morning about twelve hours after the last try I did the same thing to my right ear (the more troubled ear). This time the experience was different. I felt my surroundings move only slightly and I kept the juice there much longer almost a minute opposed to about 10-15 secs the first time. I am not feeling nauseuos or deathly ill. My head is only hurting slightly.
If my experience had been due to a perforation I doubt my ear would have healed the perforation in twelve hrs.
I like your idea about juicing the scalp. I will see if I have enough juice or I will just grab a handful of the RCV and massage them in and around my head. I am convinced this juice is very powerful in a good way.

I will cut to the chase. I just juiced both nostrils! I figured my nose is realted to my ears. I intend to be thurough.
First I put a drop in the left nostril, I began to get nervous and quickly added a little water to dilute. Not much happened. I became a bit more brave and put in about two large drops into my right nostril. It stung abit inside my nose, this is probably because I used the Vegetable Kimchee by Rejuvenative. The liquid quickly made it's way down to my throat. I felt like gagging a bit so I drank some water, that helped. My throat began to itch a bit but my right ear really itched. The itching in my ear continued for about 5-7min then stopped. Aside from feeling just a bit hot, kinda feverish, I am OK.
I plan to do the scalp tonight. I will work my way down, wink, wink.

This is a reply to # 883,531I'm very interested in this subject because for many years now I'm having problems with my ears. Constantly itching it's driving me crazy. Always these white scales in my ear. And I was wondering of someone here has ever tried Lamisil and what was the result. I'm so desperate that I'm going to try it anyway!

This is a reply to # 884,226This could be caused my mites. Everybody has them, but some strains can be nasty, and some people are sensitive to the normal ones. There are treatment solutions which work for these. Shroom
